It was a very jolly do, a lot of lamp swinging and reminiscence. We had the same number as for the 50th do two years ago.
None of us have kicked the bucket since then so perhaps we shall keep on for another 30 years. Not that impossible when you consider how many of us have had episodes which modern medical science has pulled us back from the brink!!!
Paddy, as ever, found an excellent location in the shape of his Golf Club, good food and good wine at a very sensible price.
There was no shortage of conversation and we dispersed around 16.00hrs mentally thinking in our 20s and 30s despite the reality of passing years. Johnny was the most distant traveller with Charles travelling from Harrogate as the runner up
If I have a big lottery win I shall fund a travelling reunion expedition to descend on Bill and Subramaniam!
Every best wish Omnia Audax!
David
